We-ell… I’ve never had a problem with dogs and cats co-existing in the same house, especially if they were raised together from infancy. Make sure you pick out a cat with some spunk. It should be playful and swat at your finger and be a bit rambunctious. (Don’t get a shy kitty.) Don’t de-claw it until it trains your puppy. It will probably give it a few swats on the nose, and your training will be complete as far as they go.
The guinea pigs??? That’s harder. I can see training the dog to leave them alone (depending on what kind of dog you get… I have a pit bull, which can be animal-aggressive, and she kills rodents all the time and leaves them on the back porch. I had a boxer that wouldn’t hurt a flea. ), but CATS? Cats are hunters by nature. The guinea pigs are going to look mighty tasty to a cat. I’d make sure they’re securely caged (and not be surprised if something happens). Depends on the cat… some are more interested in hunting than others, and I don’t know that there’s much you can do about that.

As long as they’re raised together since the puppy and kitten are little they should be fine. But to be safe…
- introduce them to the guinea pigs right away.
- hold the guinea pigs (one at a time or more however desired) while the puppy/kitten is near. The reason for that one is to show you other animals that the guinea pigs are not enimies. That they will not harm you. Because the puppy/kitten will both grow up tp protect their owner.
